Opening boosters is a wast of money.
Think about it this way.
On ebay you can buy a set of mirrodin for about $80-$90.
There are 88 rares and 88 uncommons in the set.
So if you bought a set for $88 that would be about $1 per each
rare+uncommon.
If you open 88 boosters you will get in average 1 full set + 2 uncommon
sets and some foil cards.
So since your getting 2 extra uncommon sets and some foils a booster
is worth more then $1 ( 4.5 nis ).
So lets say a opened booster is worth like 5-6nis?
Your paying 489 nis for 36 boosters, thats a little more then 13.5 nis per booster.
So for the same price that 88 boosters would cost, you could buy 3 full
mirrodin sets on ebay.
Only reason to open boosters is if you enjoy it.
If your friend opens the boosters and you don't enjoy it theres no reason
to wast the money.
