ONBC Analysis after GP Detroit

in the GP Detroit there were 3 major archtyps

1: goblins
those pesky little goblins were all over grand prix so many of them. the interesting things were: siege gang comander to efectivly deal 10 dmg in 2 turns or using the little pests with silthcrawler however there was no surprise seeng the player playing with the red blood pet goblin in order to play 2nd turn chiffy. this deck's creatures are so powerful that the only non creature spell was shock.


2: slide
not big change but most versions played with silver knight main deck because of goblins and another clever this was spark spray which is strong againt goblins. slide also played with Eternal Dragon and decree of justice.

3: white agro control
this deck playes with 14 effecive creatures in order to crush the opposition
4 knight 4 dawn elementals 4 exalted angels and 2 mama akromas
little children why do we play with the expansive mama akroma do u know? the reason is the 6 casting cost spell AKROMA"S VANGANCE to clear the board. wing shards was also popular in this deck


there were MBC some zombies but nothing main stream. there was alex swartzman's bad form deck who took the 3/4 th place
