morphling and uses, with masticore examination

Hello dear users and mods and all the rest of magic addicted.

i don't get why morphling is a good creature, it's a 3/3 that costs 2blue and 3 colorless.

and you have to pay extra costs for his "skills".

can anyhumanbody explain?

well the point in morphling is that it alows a control deck 2 have a very few threats lets say just 3 morphlings in the deck, and b sure they r enough to win the game, that is cause u want 2 hold as many counters as u can and when u do want 2 play a ceature u want it 2 b hard 2 kill fast on the attack and hard 2 bolck and also if possible do some card advantage, so morph can also untap 2 block, well thats about all the stroy for morphling, he is an amazing creature, dont underestimate him the poblem today is that the enviroment is 2 fast fo him 2 b efective.

yes, he can be 0/X+3, where x is you mana. note that if you spend 5 on x, you will need to spend 6 to get 1 power- while the power is ocunted as 0, its actually -X-3

Actually... the reason morphling is known as one of the best creautes is pretty obvious, and it's already been written in this thread, so I won't bother.... I'll use this thread to ask a question that's also considered an MTG fact, but I question it... why is Masticore considered one of the best creatures?...

Masticore- lets see... you get a 4/4 for 4 mana artifact. thats already good. add the discard, and its ~ok~. Now. add the fact that it is nigh impoosible to kill- regenerate. And also the fact that it can kill any creature on the board (almost). Tinker can play it first turn. it can be fetched with living wish. it clears the board. it wins games

mastiocre is better. hehe... putting it first turn or shooting with it with about 23 mana is a bit better then attacking for 5

to do that u need:
a: Draw suff that give u more then 24 mana.
b: Get those into play.
c: Draw a masticore.
d: Get a masticore past a rain of counterspells.
e: Know exactly when ur opponent gonna attack.
f: Counter a stifle, and maybe a mana short.
